Treat your students to an unforgettable outing to “Aventure Pirate” at Parc Régional de la Rivière-du-Nord, or opt for an immersive animation at your school. With games of skill, treasure hunts and captivating theatrical animation, this adventure guarantees a memorable educational experience.

Course
You have two options for this quest:
Option 1: Animation at your school or day camp
The day begins with an introduction where all the youngsters meet the captain and his crew. Youngsters are quickly drawn into the world of pirates, and discover the missions they’ll have to carry out throughout the day to recover Blackbeard’s objects and keys.
The youngsters are then divided into groups and take part in different activities in rotation throughout the day.
Activity 1 Treasure hunt
Apprentice pirates must help the treasurer open Blackbeard’s treasure chest by finding the 5 clues. They have to decipher the riddles and find the word that will open the padlock.
Activity 2 Boat building
With the help of our marine carpenter, the youngsters have to design a reliable boat that can be sailed on the water. They learn about nautical terms and the history of pirates.
**Each student takes home their creation and a souvenir of their pirate experience.
Activity 3 Foam sword fights
In a safe, controlled environment, youngsters learn the art of swordplay and take on dueling challenges while respecting the instructions of the pirate combat strategist.
Option 2: Group outing to Parc de la Rivière du Nord
When the youngsters arrive at the park, the captain and his crew will meet them directly in their bus and take them to the base camp.
Youngsters are quickly transported into the world of pirates, and discover the missions they’ll have to carry out throughout the day to recover Blackbeard’s objects and keys in order to open the final chest and collect the reward.
They are then divided into three groups and take part in three different activities in rotation throughout the day.

In a course where agility and collaboration are the order of the day, the youngsters have to take up various skill challenges to recover keys.
Activity 3 Foam sword fights
In a safe, controlled environment, youngsters learn the art of swordplay and take on dueling challenges while following the instructions of our pirate combat strategist.
ADAPTABILITY
Aventure Pirate is designed for ages 5 to 12.
The various activities can be carried out on your premises or outdoors, depending on the weather and space available.
